Are you a preferred provider for health funds?

Yes. The Dental Club is a preferred provider for several major Australian health funds, including HCF, NIB, and Westfund (availability may vary by location). This partnership often results in higher rebates and significantly lower out-of-pocket costs for our patients.

Does the government’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) cover my kids?

Most children aged 2–17 who are eligible for Medicare and receive certain government benefits are eligible for up to $1,095 in basic dental services over two calendar years. We proudly bulk-bill all eligible patients under the CDBS at our Bellmere, Caboolture, Griffin, and Stafford clinics.

Do you offer interest-free payment plans for major dental work?

We believe quality dental care should be accessible to everyone. For larger treatments like dental implants, Invisalign, or crowns, we offer flexible, interest-free payment options through providers like Afterpay and Zip. Please speak with our reception team at any of our branches to find a plan that fits your budget.

How often should I realistically have a dental check-up and clean?

For most patients, we recommend a professional scale and clean every six months. Regular visits allow us to identify “invisible leaks” or early signs of decay before they turn into costly emergencies. If you have a history of gum disease, our clinicians may suggest a 3-to-4-month maintenance schedule.

What is the difference between a traditional bridge and a dental implant?

A dental bridge uses the neighbouring teeth as anchors to “bridge” a gap, while a dental implant is a permanent titanium post placed directly into the jawbone. Implants are generally considered the gold standard as they do not require altering healthy teeth and help prevent long-term jawbone loss.

Can I get my teeth whitened if I have sensitive teeth?

Yes. We offer professional whitening treatments specifically formulated to minimise tooth sensitivity. Before starting any whitening procedure, we perform a thorough exam at our clinics to ensure your sensitivity isn’t caused by underlying issues like exposed roots or untreated cavities.

How long does Invisalign treatment usually take?

While every smile is unique, the average Invisalign treatment takes between 12 and 18 months. However, simple alignment issues can sometimes be corrected in as little as 6 months. We use digital 3D scanning at all of our clinics to show you your projected results before treatment even begins.

Why do my gums bleed when I brush or floss?

Bleeding gums are usually an early sign of gingivitis (gum inflammation) caused by plaque buildup. While it might be tempting to avoid the area, regular flossing and a professional dental clean are required to reverse the inflammation and prevent more serious periodontal disease.

Do you treat nervous or anxious patients?

Absolutely. We understand that dental anxiety is a significant barrier for many. Our teams in Bellmere, Caboolture, Griffin, and Stafford are specifically trained in gentle dentistry techniques. We offer a calm, non-judgmental environment and can discuss various sedation options to ensure your visit is completely stress-free.
